Electric Bass
From rock and roll to heart and soul, the bass is the cornerstone of every band and creates the groove that makes people move! I’ll get you playing some sweet riffs in no time.
I combine the use of many methods and techniques to develop a lesson that is specific to your needs. I’ll show you how to read music, play by ear, read tabs, and learn songs on your own.
Upright Bass
One of my personal favorite instruments to teach. There are no frets! But don’t fret about it. I’ll teach you everything you need to know to sound great!
Most students switch to upright bass later in years and I’ve developed a system of getting to know the instrument quickly so that you can be successful in a short amount of time and catch up to the friends and musicians you want to play with.
Guitar
Whether you are a singer, a song writer, or just like to play classical, the guitar is a versatile instrument that will give you many years of enjoyment! From keeping it tuned to playing complicated fingering patterns, I’ll help you get the most out of your playing.
Piano

With over 25 years teaching and performing experience, I have learned to adapt to just about every musical and educational situation. I don’t just use one technique for every student or band, I have many teaching methods and creative ideas that I’ve learned over the years of teaching and performing so I can give YOU the best experience for you!
I am a patient teacher and I care about your learning and growth. Music is my life and nothing gives me greater joy than to help others learn to play and play well.
